Our Story from Side Hustle to Wholesale Partner

At Al Rahman International Pte Ltd, our story begins not in a warehouse, but at home — with a single shelf, a handful of freeze-dried fruits and candies, and a desire to create something meaningful. In October 2023, we started small, packing orders by hand for neighbours, friends, and early online customers. We didn’t have capital, storage space, or a big team — just determination, and the belief that quality products should be accessible to everyone.

From those early days, one thing became clear: many aspiring sellers were facing the same obstacles we did — high minimum order requirements, inaccessible pricing, and a lack of flexibility. So as we grew, we made a decision that would shape everything we do: no minimum order quantity (no MOQ).

We initially carried a mix of household essentials and snacks — from toilet rolls to cleaning agents and personal care — but in early 2025, we made the deliberate decision to transition out of general FMCG. While it gave us a solid foundation, it lacked the personal connection and joy we found in candy. Confectionery brought something different: nostalgia, excitement, shared memories. It allowed us to connect more deeply with our customers and focus on what we truly love — creating delight.

Today, Al Rahman International is a registered wholesale distributor in Singapore, importing candies, freeze-dried snacks, and select seasonal goods from trusted suppliers across the UK, Europe, and Asia. We support resellers, mini marts, micro businesses, and overseas sellers — from those just starting out to those scaling steadily.

We are a Muslim-owned business, and that means something to us. It means we prioritise halal-certified and vegan-friendly options. It means we deal fairly, communicate openly, and do our best to run a business rooted in trust, compassion, and accountability — not just transactions.

Our business has grown, but our heart hasn’t changed. We still serve with the same hands-on care that shaped us in the beginning. We still speak directly with customers who just want to try their first candy box on TikTok live or pack a school fair table with something fun and new. We still believe that change = chance, and we exist to give others that same opportunity.
